Performance Consulting
Performance consulting is about working smarter, not harder. By identifying and leveraging the factors that contribute to poor (and great) performance, we can design solutions so that performance becomes a competitive advantage for your organization.
Many factors influence how people perform at work. As a consultant specializing in behavioral science, I help you identify, assess, and leverage these factors. Crucially, this process helps you invest in interventions that work, and avoid spending time and money on ones that don’t.
Working together, we will uncover:

What level of performance is needed for business success
How people are performing today, and the factors shaping that performance
How those factors can be leveraged to improve performance and drive business results
What you get:
Behavior Insights. The analysis may be complex, but the results don’t have to be. I map insights in ways that helps clients clearly visualize the systems, processes and behaviors behind performance.
Solution-neutral approach. I’m not here to sell a trademarked program or a one-size-fits-all engagement. Performance consulting is about finding the solution that meets your organization’s needs, and I’ll always work within your context and constraints.
Practical strategies. You’ll leave with clear, actionable steps. My background in change management and instructional design means I care about implementation – not just generating ideas.
Put simply, performance consulting starts with the end in mind (what is success?) and helps you design the most effective and efficient path to get there.
Instructional Design
Quality instructional design isn’t about pumping out content – it’s about strategically designing interventions that engage employees and support meaningful business outcomes.
Designing high quality courses takes more time and care – but it’s worth it when you begin to see the changes the organization actually needs!
What I create:

Curriculum. Structured learning programs that builds capability over time and align with business goals.
Courses. Engaging, evidence-based courses designed to change how people think and act on the job.
Performance support. Practical tools and resources that people can use in the moment of need.
Communication plan. Communication strategies and materials that build buy-in and reinforce learning initiatives.
My process
- Clarify business goals and performance needs.
- Create a learning blueprint.
- Design and develop the learning solution.
- Review, refine and validate with stakeholders.
- Launch, evaluate, and iterate based on feedback.
Principles of design
There are countless principles to consider when designing instructional materials (in fact, my personal checklist includes over 30!) but these are foundational:
- Authenticity: Learning incorporates active practice that reflects real, on-the-job challenges.
- Transfer: A holistic view of workplace learning, so employees can transfer what they’ve learned into their day-to-day work.
- Human-centered design: Respect for the learner is central. Building trust, motivation and confidence is essential for any learning initiative to succeed.

Translation & Localization
I translate and localize courses to ensure learning is accessible and culturally relevant across regions. As an experienced Articulate Storyline developer, I am able to translate complex, interactive courses while preserving the intent and integrity of the original design.
Having lived and worked on three continents, and speaking English, French, and Italian, I know how much good localization matters when it comes to equitable access to learning! A quality translation goes a long way towards helping your staff feel included, respected, and confident applying what they’ve learned in their own context.
